@NAWLINBOY08 Maybe someone who actually knows the F-Troop should talk. Fact is we had musicians. Did you know the Original Dirty Dozen Brass Band members were Fortier grads? Fortier produced two SU drummajors including Derrick Moss of the Soul Rebels. During Mr. Brimmer's tenure over 150 seniors recieved SU Band Dept. scholarships, the most in was 1991 with 12 Tarpons making Southern's Band. Tarpons also marched for Bethune-Cookman, Howard, Univ. of Illinois, Alcorn, TSU, JSU, and Grambling.
