LOL what an awful thing to say!

Smith & Wesson is owned by Smith &Wesson Holding Company. It is a publicly-traded company, owned by anyone who wants to buy stock. S&W also employs hundreds of US workers.

@tidentrue92 I've put around 500 rounds of American Eagle 223 through my Ruger 556, and it is excellent ammo. I just bought some PMC I will be trying, but I prefer the Federal American Eagle...American made :) By the way, no misfires at all.

Both are good. Only you can decide with you prefer.

Do you have the cloth over the ejection port while shooting to keep the brass away from your face? I shoot left handed too.

That's a 3Bucc Brass Catcher (3bucc-dot-com). It's there to keep the brass from being scattered all over the ground, I've used them for years and they work great. I don't have a problem with brass hitting me in the face; the standard case deflector works very well.

Thanks for posting the videos on the SR556. I just purchased a new 556c myself and have yet to take it out and fire for the first time. I am wondering which ammo is best to use for this rifle, particularly the first few rounds when it is being broken in? I have both .223 and 5.56 55gr rounds (both are American Eagle brand). Which one would you suggest using in this rifle, especially in the beginning? Also, what do you think of that particular brand? Is it too cheap to use on a regular basis?

That is good ammo, and either one is perfectly fine for that rifle.
