Lyrics:

Take me through the centuries to supersonic years
Electrifying enemy is drowning in his tears
All I have to give you is a love that never dies
The symptom of the universe is written in your eyes

Yeah
Yeah

Mother Moon she's calling me back to her silver womb
Father of creation takes me from my stolen tomb
Seventh Advent unicorn is waiting in the skies
A symptom of the universe, a love that never dies

Yeah
Yeah

Take my hand, my child of love come step inside my tears
Swim the magic ocean I've been crying all these years
With our love will ride away into eternal skies
A symptom of the universe, a love that never dies

Yeah
Yeah

Oh my child of God's creation, come and step inside my dreams
In your eyes I see no sadness, you are all that loving means
Take my hand and we'll go riding through the sunshine from above
We'll find happiness together in the summer skies of love

get back to me when you have celebrated your 15th birthday.

try listening to something other than the SAME DAMN THING over and over.

did you even listen to sir lord baltimore like i asked you to?

apparently not, because you havent written back to tell me you may have made a mistake, and that slb is the real deal, and that metal may be just a bit more than your 14 year old mind can tolerate.

    ill quit

  • @ballisticm1

it was '79, never say die tour. none of my friends had ever heard of "van who"? they came out and fucked up my world.(me being a MAJOR sabbath fan), great band, just different. i sat thru it. the the guys took the stage.

never been so disappointed in my life. ozzy couldnt remember his name, much less the words to the songs. tony, at least twice, started playing THE WRONG SOLO on rock and roll doctor, and some jam thing they did.

    coke sucks.

    still, great show

  • @sooner3153

    finally! someone that gets it.

im 52, and have seen many heavy bands come and go.

i dont know why i keep getting sucked in. maybe its because i am a 1st generation metal head, and just dont get what metal mutated into. imo, there is a great 'something " missing in the 2nd gen of metal. it DID change, and i just cant accept that judas priest and the rest of their ilk understand real metal. they seem to be 1 trick ponies, while the sabs were different every album,

  • No Bill, No Black Sabbath.

  • Did someone just mention the thought of Black Sabbath and Van Halen on stage together? I just threw up in my mouth!! Only if Sabbath is the headliner!! If it's without Bill Ward who cares. Either way having Tony Iommi on stage with a wanker like Eddie is pretty much a sin of epic proportion. Tony Iommi kills EVH!!!!

  • @edslides1 I just tuned in to this banter. I have lived long enough (54) to have figured everything out. wink In my grand heirarchy of things (I hope I spelled that correctly) no one comes close to the mark set by the classic four Black Sabbath albums: Master, Vol.4, Bloody, and Sabotage. All other bands are great no question, they can play and play live which makes them all accomplished musicians and performers, but. And I love Yes, Hendrix, Traffic, Led, The Who & The Stones.

  • @crazze6163 I know. How can anyone pull the trigger on "dislike"? Come on man. I'm sure it was done just to be obstinate.

  • @crazze6163 not me......

  • @edslides1 Of course Priest doesn't play the same as Sabbath, but they are Heavy Metal. You took something that was not complicated at all, and made a fool of yourself and turned that same uncomplicated thing into a complicated thing. Judas Priest is Heavy Metal. Judas Priest is the only band that has only had the title of all their music called Heavy Metal. I'm done with you.

  • @jfkdjfd

the media also says obama is a great guy and mitt romney will be the next president.

look up sir lord baltimore. halford himself even said priest took what sabbath did and came up with something new.

ergo, they do not play what sabbath plays, so by default, they are not heavy metal

ill go so far as to consider them "cabbage patch metal" or maybe "metal light"
