http://www.mylasikblog.com Video of my successful Lasik eye surgery. I was 26 when I did this. No pain, no halo, no complications. I now have 20/20 vision.

  • I'm used to touching my eyes in order to use contacts so this doesn't bug me anywhere as much as I thought it would.

I'm thinking about getting this done. But you'll be damn sure that I'll have someone else in the room with me.

I'll be damned if that Final Destination 5 bullshit will happen to me.

  • Was going to watch this video, read a few of the comments, decided not to in case I decide to get Lasik.

  • The doctors near me don't really do bladed lasik anymore, so I'm happy that I'll never have to see that "can opener" myself :-D

  • Lol...it certainly looks scary but it's a very short procedure, essentially painless (pressure is about it...not pain) and mostly psychological.

  • @MomoGasumi I'm pretty sure a doctor will be in the room with you.

  • If you are planing to get a LASIK don't watch videos or read the risks lol I was about to do it 4 weeks ago but I went here and watched videos and I chicked out lol.. I have done it 3 days ago it's worth it.. I was excited when I did it most guy with me waiting in the room for our surgery were scared as hell lol.. If you are young under 35 of age you don't have to worry cos ours recover faster then older people.. If you are planing do it and make sure you sleep after the surgery cos it's burnin

  • @bwj999 i dont think thats an air bubble it looks like its probably the camera they recording with reflecting.or she said the guy was using a microscope so it couldve been that.but IDK just a guess

  • ok so i was thinking about getting lasik but this video just changed my mind/

  • Is that an air bubble in the center after the flap is put back, and does it just disappear over time?

  • @scotchtape312

Me too...I want to see so bad. I freak out just from wearing contacts...guess im stuck with glasses

  • @BayBehTwix ill get this done first then watch FD5

  • @maimai1ty89 they tell you it will last roughly 10 years then your vision will slowly keep back down, but many friends have had it done and they are going on 10 years with no signs of change, and even ones father had it done almost 15 years ago and hes still got perfect vision.
