people who dont understand always say "you don't actually need meds you seem fine" fine until something terrible happens. and we're the ones who have to deal with it at the end, not them.
no, this is serious--it is so hard to live and work-- impossible. People treat people with bi polar disorder with no consideration what so ever--- these people are treated unfairly by just about everybody-- people who do not have this disorder to not understand, businesss' in most cases do not have the ability to accomodate the needs of these people either, they victimize them,
You seem really smart and have a good attitude. Keep up taking care of yourself. You got some respect coming from way out here on the interent. Peace unto you and your lucky boyfriend.
meds literally destroyed me. The broke me, both physically and mentally. I realise since I have to have the hypomania episodes just so every once in a while experience what it's like being slightly normal/confident etc. So i take nothing now
Meds are retarded they don't help at all! That's why I never take it! N I'm fine without them like yes somedays I'm fine with just a little depression and some high raging but if I just talk to ppl who I trust they calm me down.
I have a medical marijuana liscence now and that is something I do not regret atal! It has helped me with my bipolar soo much lol I'm also off my meds too and I'm doing alright. I don't feel as if I'm ignoring my problems either by smoking weed it just puts me in a better mind set so I can adress them properly without ignoring them or lashing out, communication with your loves ones is key. Good luck on your journey, I'm here for you <3
Girl we have alot more in common then you would think. I noticed your left eye too, I have that in mine too aha my eyes are green but then blue in the exact same spot for some reason. Just remember we support you and I believe you're bipolar, but don't dread on it so much, we're here for you and you seam to be learning to COPE with it better, thats really all you can do, baby steps all the way.
