Yes, I had Oscar down by one point going into the 12th and did exactly what a champion does. It amazes me anyone could think Ike would get the decision after getting destroyed in the 12th round of a razor thin close fight.

De la hoya was losing but he took over the championship rounds and the knockdown made the difference. Quartey didnt do enough to take DLHs belt. In order to beat the champ you gotta finish him.

Are you kidding? The ropes were saving quartey's life, Oscar landed about 12 good power shots to Ikes jaw, Quartey landed maybe 2 and the last half of those punches were just slaps. Quartey was practically lying on the ropes after getting socked. I give props for Quartey to continue throwing but he was getting obliterated on those ropes

Yep, oscar earned a well deserved win. He outlanded, knocked Ike down 2-1, and completely obliterated him in the 12th and most important round of a close fight. Ike was a fool to think he won that fight going into the 12th. I had Oscar down by 1 point going into the 12th and almost got a 10-7 round but was 10-8 earning the win. Anyone who says Ike won is just an oscar hater, no way in hell Ike deserved that fight getting destroyed in a 12th round of such a close fight.
