I had the opportunity to train once with Albert - a real gentleman and a scary understanding of power generation. He broke my positions with a smile - a real eye opener

@lordtains if you are able to relax and connect with the person, it will end up being you and opponenent fighting the opponent as it enables you to transfer your body mass into the other person? His basically directing his weight into the holders leg which is why the holder ended up rotating on one leg? hope that helps you?

Great family vibe from this video. Structure is incredibly important, and something that I'm working on these days. It really takes time and THEN it takes more time to keep your structure while turning, which is what this vid shows. Very cool.

I know oh so well how you feel mate.
But you never ever know what life will bring next. Never! Ever!
So take what ever you may have learned, and practic it over and over and over again, undtil thos skills become rock solid.
Break through the barierre of boredom that haunts us all, and continue to practice. And if it is "only" Siu Nim tao - the do that until it surrounds you, permeates you and holds your universe together.
Then, when opportunitie arises you will be ready.
have a nice day

I've met Albert, he used to have a little moustache, looks like he's shaved it off, I used to see him regualarly at the city branch, he's a nice modest quiet man with a loud talent, unfortunately I never got the opportunity to train with him but I saw his demonstrations, his power is scary for a smallish man about 5'6" tall and as with most people who reach a degree of skill like his he is impeccibally polite and modest.
