Video Camera Trap - Trial Run

I set out to build my own video camera trap using a digital video camera and parts purchased over the Internet. Overall, it would have cost the same to buy a unit off the shelf but it was a whole lot more fun to build it myself. I placed it in the chapparal northwest of Los Angeles for two weeks. This is the result of my initial test. Enjoy!

Ha! Yes, a little. But I'm pretty careful to place it in the scrapiest spots I can find. That risk is part of the fun, I guess. :-)
