Holy Land Foundation Trial: A Daughter's Perspective

In 2001, the U.S. government shut down the largest American Muslim charity, the Holy Land Foundation (HLF). The HLF trial began July 16, 2007 and five Palestinian-Americans are being accused of funding violence. The HLF trial is purely political and the defendants' only crime was feeding Palestinian orphans.

I find it interesting that this country's government had overwhelming evidence against the cronies involved in the Iran Contra scandal and didn't prosecute a single one (in fact, they got pardoned and promoted!). they charge HLF for helping terrorists by providing aid to families of "terrorists" if we follow that train of thought, we cannot ever provide charity to the orphans and children of convicted felons in the usa. we should never help to feed those children and families of people who do wrong. and the worst part is that there has been no trials for the entity of hamas. the usa does what it wants and starves whom it pleases. may god keep you strong in this battle. i am sorry.
