  • Debate the absurdity called religion. Nothing, absolutely nothing, should be respected "just because"!

  • Slightly ironic for this comment to be on this video. Hah.

  • So true.

Ironically, an evolution-less theory; has evolved to protect itself.

    Nice work Jesus, Nice.

  • nah, windows.

macs aren't even a choice, douglas!

  • What does that MEEUUNN?!?!

  • Brilliant quote from a brilliant man.

  • This man's mind was indeed one of those rare gifts to humanity which arise every once in a while and the fruits of which it is our obligation to treasure and learn from. Thank you for putting these up, observationspring.

  • @quaternio OK; I agree that a meme needn’t be either good or evil to thrive, but I said that the paradigm is evil by which I meant that the tribe, religion, sect, denomination applying its global view to everyone outside of its small universe results in evil being done.

Also note that “to have faith” or “to believe in” are verbs describing actions which do mind damage and are therefore evil.

  • @bimmjim I am an "anti-theist," but I would argue contrarily, that religions that are more overtly evil are LESS likely to be tolerated. The point to applying neo-Darwinism to religious memes though, is that the meme needn't be either good or evil to thrive. Such leads to memes like the "value" of faith, lesser evil when compared to the now archaic human sacrifice, but MUCH more pervasive.

  • I agree. Religion is self-perpetuating and persists because it is more evil than the paradigms that have passed away. The realy big problem is self-fulfilling prophecy. Self-fulfilling prophecy, as practiced by religions, is an error in logic that could terminate the human species.

Please, my fellow humans, try to figure this out.

  • @smariot, Yes it does. and if a person is fortunate enough to have an inquiring mind, it will be unlearned in good time.
