A volunteer staff of the most compassionate doctors, nurses, counselors and supporters who do everything in their power to make Dream Street the best week of these deserving children's summer? Check.
I couldn't be more proud or honored to have spent my first summer volunteering as a counselor for the Dream Street Foundation. More photos & video to come... here is a montage of summer 2011's favorite camp highlights!

About the Dream Street Foundation:
Founded in 1988, the Dream Street Foundation provides unique camping and support programs for children and young adults with terminal, chronic and life threatening illnesses - free of charge. Annually, over 700 children with cancer, aids, cystic fibrosis, blood disorders and other serious illnesses enjoy activities they would normally be restricted from.
At Dream Street, volunteer counselors as well as a complete medical staff are on hand to spend endless hours with any child who needs special help and love. A staff of nurses, psychologists, social workers and doctors are present 24/7 providing round the clock medical coverage. Dream Street currently funds and operates programs in California, Arizona, Arkansas, Mississippi and New Jersey.
