The point of this video is to show how to do this WITHOUT downloading any additional programs. I'm aware it's not the best way, I'm aware it's not the easiest, and yes, I'm aware it's not the fastest way, calling this to my attention will do nothing.

Please see Boingerbox's video response if you have windows vista

  • Thanks!!

  • Just my opinion. Another guy's method is way less tedious, I think. This method also didn't work for my Windows 7 version of Movie Maker. Search youtube for roxes787b "How to Reverse a Video in Virtual Dub without any programs."

Virtual Dub is a free program that you'll have to download from Cnet or somebody, but at least you won't want to kill yourself from the tedium of this method.

  • thats stupid just get sony vegas

  • my movie maker looks like shit compared to yours?????

  • there is a better method.

there is a function that divides a video into two parts.

just use this function to devide the video into every frame.

then reverse the frames in the movieboard.

  • why doesn't microsoft simply implement this function?

  • forever and always.

  • what about audio

  • i used this method and i recorded my time. i rewinded a 16 second video and it took about an hour to finish. :o

  • lol, that's gonna take some time
