  • bikes with no slip ons are insanely loud in person, youd go deaf with ear next to the tip with a 4k rev

  • press 4 to hear a f1 car

  • That's pretty awesome. Really does sound like an F1 car. I'm sure your mad about having to put a pipe on it at all but sure it still sounds great.

  • @Masoud5991 You'd be a lot better off talking to a professional tuning shop. I don't have much experience with bikes, just engines in general. What I know on an engine that revs to 6,000 RPM, may not apply to an engine that revs to 13,000+ RPM.

I've just studied up over the years on all of the exhaust theories. How they affect flow, power, air/fuel ratios, and damage that may occur to valves.

  • @kcole939

I see a lot of nice answers there and soon I will be asking you for some help aswell.

  • fuckin laughing right now, ive been riding the same way until my jardine gp1 comes, and i'm am waiting for my guaranteed fix it ticket lol!

  • I done this once with my 2007 ZX6R and got stopped by the police about 5 mins from my house.

  • I don't think so. I'd cut it so that a muffler would fit on as if it was stock.

  • cool..im doing it...should i cut the pipe on a 45 degree angle?

  • Cutting the actual exhaust piping down a couple inches won't do too much. It helps a little bit for the die-hard track junky who's trying to shave ounces off of their bike everywhere. You may notice flames here and there from time to time, since the muffler would be closer to the headers, which are extremely hot.

It's something I'd try though. Especially on a pre K5 GSXR 1000 with the extremely long exhaust systems, that reach almost as far out and high up as the brake light.
