An Untitled Story

An Untitled Story is a metroidvania-esque adventure platformer with very charming presentation. Don't let the cute storybook visuals fool you- behind them lie a well produced and at times, fiendishly difficult game.

You are an egg, somehow gifted with the ability to move. As you explore new areas you gain abilities, and with those abilities new areas are opened for exploration. With 34 abilities to learn, 95 health upgrades, and 18 bosses to fight, the game is expansive and will take several hours to see everything. Story line doesn't play a large part for much of the game, but is present and unfolds as you go on. Hidden areas reveal more information to those willing to explore the most obscure of places.

I liked this game a lot! Though trying to get 100% completion drove me crazy, and was not worth it. But the sense of exploration is unparalleled, especially given the large number of secret areas.
