ya somthing like that... I am not sure yet, just playing with a few different ideas for getting better shots. I wanted to reduce the exccess yaw from my last videos and hoped this may have been the answer.
The first plan was to hang the cam and have the wheel become a pole. On testing I found that the footage was still only ok and that a smaller hand held rig would result in a better setup
After looking at your design and brainstorming a few of my own, I've come to a conclusion that this particular idea is way too limiting. Rather than having a counter weight you should use the weight of the camera itself. Not only will this make your rig lighter but easier to calibrate. Also gimbal has a limited tilt like at 00:10.
@JamesHaskin i assume a pole will be attached to the bearing so even if the pole is rotated the camera will stay flat therefor minamising the shakiess of the video?
@jestah99 hmmm interesting maybe if the wheel was spinning it would work as a sort of gyro? stabilize it a bit?
good luck!!

I'm interested to see this tested with a camera on it. Will you be holding it by the wheel while skating? I think that would be kinds awkward.
Gimbal not gimble.
Keep us posted :D
