A Nursing Diploma gives you great hands on and practical experience

Hi I am Amelia Viney Im 28 about to turn 29.
I have a previous qualification in Certificate 3 in Aged Care and I am doing the Diploma of Nursing in order to work my way into more clinical experience and then go into do my Registered Nursing.
Throughout the course of my life and studies I have found that I do have this natural tendency to be able to help people and I love working with people and medicine is such an interesting science.
Being a nurse you can be there to make someones day perfect and if you are not really committed to it or dont really have the heart for it then your patient is not going to receive that care.
Thus far I have found the training on the Diploma of Nursing is really hands on which is great because we are getting those clinical skills and studying through the Polytechnic gives you more hands on experience so we can go out there and into the workforce with best practice skills
Once I graduate from my diploma of Nursing I wish to get 12 months of experience and then go back and get my Bachelor of Nursing at University in order to gain more experience and after I have done that I would like to go back and do Post Graduate studies in Anesthology or Paediatrics two very important parts of nursing and I would encourage anyone to continue with that tertiary education and learn more skills
