@HermieHedgehog They are slow. Of course you'd have to do alot of work and boost a Tempo to make it fast, though they weren't meant to be fast. Also there aren't many performance parts for them

@HermieHedgehog Try a first gen 1984 Tempo. That has only 90hp. I feel like I'm punishing the poor car by going up a hill lol. I really have to punch the accelerator to get it to crawl up a hill.

"1979corvette", thanks. Most parts were bought online, with the used "C230 Kompressor" supercharger (Eaton M62 being the priciest part. Everything had to be adapted or hand-fabbed. Everything besides the blower (FMIC, FPR, Walbro pump, MSD Boost Timing Master) ran me about $400 or so. Could have been done cheaper with used parts though.

I have a '91 Tempo I'm planning on turning into a sleeper, since most people think they're slow. How hard is the supercharger install?

Not too bad, but everything must be fabbed or adapted from other applications. Definitely not a "bolt-in" upgrade, but worth the effort IMO. Far from the fastest thing on the street, but seeing the look on people's faces when I break the tires loose in 2nd gear is priceless.

Eaton M90 in it the kit is 90% done. just need the time. I just love the sound of you car man glad you still have it :)
