This is a review of my Helle Harding Bushcraft Knife which is my main outdoors knife. This is one of a few knife reviews that i have put up here for you guys to check out and they range from knives i actually use in bushcraft and camping environments to complete trash that i have knocking around in my knife box... Anyway, comments are always welcome, apologies for the poor narration and lack of flashy titles and i hope you enjoy watching but please remember that this is only my opinion and not being a knife expert i dont know everything about them so youll have to forgive any mistakes!

  • can you strike a magnesium firesteel with it??

  • @johannes208 You can indeed!

  • Great vid, could I get your opinion on the blind horse knives bushcrafter

It's a nice knife and is in the same price range

  • @enjoiorange Hi there, thanks for the comment. I havent actually used the BHK knife but on paper it looks great. I especially like the D rng sheaf as it wont get in your way when sitting down etc. The only things that looked worrying are the lanyard hold in the handle which i think would cause blisters after a while, and that the blade looks quite wide which might make intricate / delicate work etc a little tougher. As mentioned though, overall looks great and would certainly be well worth a try

  • @mehalstead Also, just to add that at $125 you really cant go wrong!!

  • @jntroisi - I agree, much as I love this knife i could never completely trust it without a backup just because of the rat tail tang. I prefer a full length / width tang too.

  • if you still have it; you could close the pores of the wood by rubbing on coats of thin superglue, then fines. Do this several times. Makes it a kind of micarta handle that takes little scent

  • in my opinion best knife to take outdoors, razor sharp, looks great and blade really lasts

    good review

  • buy a knife from norway and complain about it stinking of fish????

    savor that smell

  • @100trueneutral Mate ,you need to stop leaving needless negative comments on peoples videos. The bushcraft community is not the place for you if this is all you can manage

  • errrm, errrrm, errrrrm.....

  • @mehalstead thanks , i ask because i ordered one and i am waiting for delivery
