Alexander Emerick Jones (born February 11, 1974) is an American talk radio host and filmmaker. His syndicated news/talk show The Alex Jones Show, based out of Austin, Texas, airs via the Genesis Communication Network over 60 AM, FM, and shortwave radio stations across the United States and on the Internet. His websites include Infowars.com and PrisonPlanet.com.

Mainstream news sources have referred to him as right-wing, conservative,and a conspiracy theorist.Journalist Michelle Goldberg has stated in The New Republic that Jones represents "an old strain of American conservatism—isolationist, anti-Wall Street, paranoid about elite conspiracies—that last flowered during the John Birch Societys heyday."

Jones sees himself as a libertarian, and rejects being described as a right-winger. He also calls himself a paleoconservative.In a promotional biography he is described as an "aggressive constitutionalist".

I'm a big fan and believe most of Alex's work is very important and true. However, in last nights show I heard him saying Darwin's theory of evolution is wrong. His religious stuff is not doing him many favors, just as his audience is growing to new listeners, he's in danger of alienating many with this kind of talk. Please leave the religion to priests and rabbi's and stick to the great work against government cover up's, big corporation corruption and anti war information.

I hate it when these christian conservatives try to disprove credible theories such as evolution, with nonsense and misinformation. And there have been way more proven archeological finds confirming the process of evolution than not. Take a Biological Anthropology class.
