@drparnell I just saw this comment checking out you other vids. Are you talking to me? I lived in Seattle in the 90s and manly boated out of Index -- you know the crowd. Nice vids, I watch them all.

I ran this a higher than 400 and it looked much cleaner. It was not too pushy, but the penalties are high on this run at any level. We also ran Jacuzzi (went deep and flushed out). I like this footage at this level, it really exposes an understanding of the the river. Thanks for posting

Excellent video work (I'm still trying to figure out how you kept the images "fog free.") and great lines through the drops. I doubt I'd ever do Ernie's Canyon so thanks for sharing your video!

Ya, I think 400-500 is perfect. Fills in and doesn't get too pushy. Scott (the other paddler) and I just had a lot of time off and nothing else was in so it was low water laps for days. I went back in there just over 300 and cracked my boat a week or two later so this is definitely the low end of the usable spectrum. Are you in Seattle? Do I know you?

@ KSBKmojo: It takes a long time to get that GoPro lense clean! Thanks for checking out the video.
@ asrielle: Depends on what you are going for. The flow in this video is in the mid 300 cfs range and is great for jusat charging down and having a pretty mellow day. That being said, I do prefer 400+ cfs as it pads out the run. It also gets significantly more difficult as the water gets higher. Email me if you ever want to get in there.
