I saw "Come Fly Away" last night in Chicago - brilliant! I saw "Movin' Out" in NYC when it was on Broadway and I really liked Fly Away better!

wow. SO FANTASTIC!
.....didnt think he was gonna get his jacket on for a second there..... :D

i think i'm just partial to the original with only one couple. Something about the simplicity of just two people throwing themselves around was a lot more poignant for me.

out of words! please i need more of "come fly away"!!!

i always remember this about musicals....when you cant say it-you sing it...when singing isnt enough...you dance it! having been lucky enough to catch this at the marq. in NYC- i have to say it took me on a wonderful journey...like a good musical should.

@sarmadasco its from a musical based back in the 70s or 80s idrbut its supposed to b sprta like jazz is supposed to b off beat and wrong acording to classy high strung people this is supposed to b the same
-
@Jangobadass because it was nominated for best choreography.....and the show is entirely choreography.
-
If you say so...though I disliked the other 2 too...
Amazing! Thanks for uploading it. All the dancers are great. Cody Green is so handsome!

I find the choreography edgy and different, interesting. I don't find it flowing as one move leads to the next as Bob Fosse, for example or Agnes DeMille, did. This, tough is not a bad thing, just different. 1st time I saw it, I tried to keep up with the moves as each couple is so different. I find the dancing geometric, for lack of a better word. Admittedly, I am astounded by the musculature of the dancers, how they hold the positions so long. It is a musical, singing or no. Get an imagination!
