When Basil tries to write his own episode and gets criticized for his grammar and spelling, he boasts that school used to be a lot stricter in his time, the gang decide to send Basil back to school.
After trying the high school for a day, Basil is moved into the same class as his nephew, Bingo!
Basil starts to like school at break-time, and Bingo boasts that Lunch is even better.
Lunch ends up being a food-fight after Basil's pudding is half-inched by Bingo, and later the science lab ends up being a disaster when Basil's experiment explodes, destroying the entire room!

I like how they have someone wearing a shirt promoting whiskey in a children's show. 1:08-1;11 gives a good view.

Actually, of all the episodes currently on YouTube, this is my favorite one. (And yes, I'm a Yank, hence the spelling.) The plot is exceptionally clever and well-devised, the writing is brilliant, and the humor is balanced for both kids and adults. Also, the humor is more logical than zany in this episode. Plus, the school predicaments actually translate well to the other side of the Pond - no cultural barriers at all, apart from the year classification terms.
