Interesting video, many people are not aware of the adventures of Haralf Hardrada. The Varangian guard was one of the greatest units of the empire and fought in many fronts, in the balkans in italy and in Anatolia. I must also say that the Byzantine Bulgarian wars were very bloody and also the Byzantine conspiracies in the great palace of Constantinople were sometimes traitorous like during the Sicilian campaign and the battle of Manzikert. Nice upload.
