I do also wish the late, great Ms. Gloria Stuart had won for Best Supporting Actress. She was phenomenal. And, I felt like Kim Basinger wasn't as deserving.
I love how both Brits, Kate Winslet and Captain Smith himself, Bernard Hill felt the same way.

I was soo happy for Kate when she took home the Oscar for The Reader, but it's really her role in Titanic as Rose DeWitt Bukater that she'll be remembered for. As good as Helen Hunt was and all of the other nominees, I wish they gave Best Actress to Kate in 1998.
