I HAVE A MOTOROLA XTS 2500 MODLE 3, IM TRYING TO SET UP THE 2 TONES SO I DONT HAVE TO HEAR THE WHOLE COUNTY JUST MY DEPT. ANYONE OUT THE KNOW HOW TO DO IT FROM THE DTMF PAD OR DO I NEED TO HOOK IT UP TO MY COMPUTER?

When ever I set mine up to decode quick call and MDC signalling it has a horrible buzzing noise in the background of a transmission. Does anyone know how to get rid of that in the cps?

im tryin to get ahold of an ht1250 so i can program it to make a vid of all 8 alert tones

Nice I have my 1250 set for that same tone when its paged for 2-tone, Mine is sent to alert once, doesn't keep beeping like yours did..nice radio though..i just ordered a yellow case for mine today with DTMF it should be in today

but you have to enable the option to change the alerts, cuz on the ht1250's that we have at nhva when u hit the menu key all that comes up is utilities and zone

in the HT1250, there 8 different alert tones that u can program without having to reprogram the radio itself
