Rainbow Doubled Her Weight in 56 Days

http://RogerHaeske.com Our daughter Rainbow Love Haeske doubled her birth weight of 5 lbs 13 oz to 11 lbs 10 oz in 56 days.

This happened on October 4th, 2011 as we've described in the video above. This was 5 days before she turned two months old. Rainbow was born on August 9, 2011.

This was all done on breast milk. No toxic formula used at any point. And the breast milk was generated on a raw food diet.

We had some friends of ours who had a baby a few months or so before Rainbow was born. He doubled his weight in 100 days and we thought that was really fast. Supposedly breast fed babies tend to double in weight in 4 to 6 months on average.

Looking back at my baby pictures it looked like I might have doubled in weight or come close to it in the two month range as well. I was breast fed for a year but my mother was eating a fairly standard or meat based diet at the time in the late 1960's.

NOTE: We zeroed out the weight of her diaper ahead of time. She has on a clean diaper as we just changed her. Soon we'll be working on getting rid of the diaper and potty training her.

You can see what Rainbow looked like at about 3 days old in the original video we put up of her. She was a lot smaller and thinner then.

Awesome, this reminds me of Nicolas who was 5 lbs 14 oz at birth, and at about 7 weeks, he was 10 lbs, I never had a scale at home to weigh him, so I don't know how much he weighed exactly, I think for his next appointment which was right about 2 months or so, he was 12 pounds! :) Breastmilk doubled the size of my premie baby in a short time! Yay! for breastmilk! I love breastfeeding!
