no need to come at me first, i agree bands do need to develop but listen to the album theyre not a metal band. and they have developed again listen to the album the road and the damned is one of the best songs i ever heard.. not metal. yet if chris pennie played behind it it would sound like slayer or try too. coheeds not metal they never will be theyre coheed and they can do what ever they want chris cant because he needs to make noise constantly

Whoa, no need to get hostile. Your right josh had better beats, but coheed has evolved into a more metal type band. They are not the old coheed anymore. Same thing happened to SOAD, their old stuff used to be hard metal and now its i don't even know.. bands evolve... They don't want to do the same thing for years and years. True Artists crave originality.

no dude josh eppard had the sickest beats and he hit harder then chris pennie does, chris's problem is that hes playing metal in coheed hes not groovin like josh did. coheeds very groove oriented and the guitar and drums use to syncapate alot not any more thanks to chris pennie's shit drums so kiss my ass and learn your stuff first
