wow, this guitar sounds SOO good, sounds better than some high end taylors i have seen

Just found one of these at our music store, on clearance, brand new, for $649.00 US Dollars. Needless to say, I was all over that purchase. Will be picking it up from the shop very soon. I had some time in the shop to play it plugged in and unplugged, both sounded amazing. I also played some Taylors and Martins (around 3,000 Dollars) and this Alvarez sounds JUST as good if not better.

I still can't believe how cheap I got this guitar for.

is the 200t and the 600t the same size?? i have a big hole in the side of my guitar and i cant really afford the best pre-amp :/

So alverez is an expensive brand? because my Grandpas uncle had one and i found iot stored in my grandpas garage in great condition(could use new strings and tuners). my great uncle has passed away and i have the guitar. The guitar is at least 15-20 years old and im only 14 so older than me hah. I guess it was a lucky find.

Hey, just saw this clip, am getting an MD90C. Question though, what are you playing from 1:05-1:31. The riff sounds familiar but I can't place it. Can you tell me what it is? What tuning? Maybe the chord structure also? Love the site, love the posts. thanks

i have alvarez that i found in the trash and all i know about it is that it was made in the 70 s. i realy like it but has crapy tuners and a high action.its model#5023

i've owned this model for about 3 years and i love it. i shopped around for awhile, played lots of martins, taylors, larrivee, etc and found this guitar blows away the competition in the $1000 range, not to mention many other guitars which cost several times more!
