I am not an investor. But I lost my job in 2008 I started buying and selling antiques and found that I was making a decent living with little cash. Now that I have a job again. I will continue as an investment hobby. I buy chairs at $200 and sell for $3000 in this market. But in general this is a great time to buy great things cheaply enjoy them and sell them at high prices later on.

I recommend buying physical, it's great knowing that the metal you own is really there.. =)
Unless you want to give mines a try too. As far as ETFs, I think they're more for people looking to make short-term profits. In my Economics project at school I made $2,000 off gold and silver ETFs in our mock stock market during a 3 month period. But of course owning these makes you subject to large taxes when you cash in, which is one reason I recommend owning physical since that's not a problem..

True, HSBC suppress the silver market with Goldman SUCKS suppressing the gold market!
Don't buy the damn ETF's those are instruments they created!

Jim makes some important points and is most likely very accurate. I agree that Ag products and silver are the place to be and you can strike a blow against these criminals by taking their power away and buy silver. This not only protects your wealth, but removes the power from the elite criminals who manipulate the markets. They hate silver cos it reduces their ability to rip us off. A return to sound money is the key to our future freedom.

I own all physical silver for the reasons you and RileyE104 state. Its a tough road watching those evil assholes butcher our profits illegally. The only thing we can do is keep spreading the word to all that owning physical is the key...for so many good reasons. I dont feel like such an outcast when I read comments like these and it I am able to keep the faith despite so many sites that mock us and nuke us from their sites all because we offer a different road to travel....
