  • Several reasons I would guess; The DRZ had a much better/faster run at the hill, Rider skills, the XR is quite a bit heavier and the torque of the XR is actually working against it going up a dune. A light Motocross bike would shred the DRZ up that dune. That would be my guess'es anyway...

  • @BikeMeAustin Fairly good guess mate, and the other thing that didnt help was his rear tyre was badly worn and he had bugger all traction. He normally would have sailed up there no problems.

  • Yea, it's all about the rider! My little girl on my XR650L could get up that hill!

  • @dirtdevilhonda so what do you think he was doing wrong, how should he have done it?

  • PLEASE DONT COMPARE A 650R TO 400. WHAT A JOKE MY XR WOULD SMOKE THAT SUXI 400. THATS LIKE COMPARING A FOUR DOOR CAR TO A TWO SEATER. THE XR IS A MANS BIKE. THE GUTY RIDING THE XR IS CHICKEN SHIT LET HER RIP. OR SELL IT PUT A TERAFLEX 150 X 18 ON THE REAR OF THAT XR. DONT FOLLW TO CLOSE..

  • @rideredification YEAH SURE WHATEVER YOU RECKON

  • 1:28 LOL

  • good vid,, and as fuckn mean sound track,,go da drz,,,

  • Wrong tires, weak throttle and heavier bike that didn't use his only edge.. Horsepower.. Shocker he had a rough time

  • Nice knobby tires.........

  • It does seem like the guy driving the XR was only using about half throttle and he even went slower each time. Both good bikes but the XR driver didn't seem to ride it right.

  • It would appear that the person riding the XR650 is not very skilled in the sand yet.

My advice is to learn how to double clutch, choose a gear that keep the back tire spinning. Never let the engine lug. And for Gods Sake let the air out of your rear tire. Your making us good XR650 riders look bad!

  • Do you suck? Or are you just not trying? Because If i were you, I would just hit that dune going 70. My wr250f eats dunes.

  • i love drzs

  • @destructus25 Thanks. Yes sir, bald tire will really seal the deal. Still both great bikes aren't they! I currently have a DRZ but it's the SM, have had in the past several XR's. Great riding and looks like a fun place to ride, have a nice weekend!
