HELP with Myspace (2.0 to 1.0)

Here is VIDEO PROOF that Myspace LIES to everyone when they say you can switch back to 1.0 if you don't like the new 2.0 version. The fact is, you CAN'T!

All new MySpace accounts created after April 2009 are defaulted to 2.0 and cannot have the option to switch back.

If you've kept your profile on 2.0 for more than 7 days, you are locked from switching and cannot switch back.

Basically, if your only option is to "Start From Scratch", you're screwed and stuck with 2.0.

Sorry! It sucks, I know. I used to have 1.0 and I tried out 2.0, but kept it for more than 7 days and now I'm stuck with it.

Ahh. Ok. That explains it. But if that's the case, why do they even pretend to have the OPTION to return to 1.0, when a new acct is made? They should just ELIMINATE that option.

and if you've noticed there's like about 100 people on myspace who are trying to get profile 1.0 back,for some it works.

Yeah. I got bored with that page a few days after I made it, thanks to that. I actually considered redesigning one of my OLDER pages into a book page (which is why I made that new one) just to keep 1.0. This is terrible.

ok i understand whats the problem when i click start from scratch u starting ya 2.0 over again u have to click the one that says switch back to 1.0 in order to get back the 1.0 page u want

There's no option for "switch back to 1.0" though. Watch it again. It only says "start from scratch" or "cancel", so I'm stuck.

I wish I could, but the only way to go back to profile 1.0 is by signing up with a comedy or music account.

Don't worry though because I'm sure in a few yrs time myspace will once again change its layouts.
