Charted at #2 on Billboard Hot 100 in March 1956. Although Cathy charted with three other records on the Hot 100 (and two more bubbling under), this was her only Top 40 hit. The song also charted at #6 for Gale Storm in April 1956 and #11 for Otis Williams and His Charms in March 1956 (#5 R&B). In the UK, the song charted at #20 for the Three Kayes (the Kaye Sisters) in May 1956.

Original Billboard review: "This chirper piles through with warbling of a mighty high order. The tune is a promising three-beater which looks headed for big doings. There's competition from name power but this disk ranks with the best and should be the one to get the gravy."

Written by Jack Fulton and Lois Steele.

B-side is "Please, Please. Believe Me".

  • Lovely, gentle, clear diction - good song to play to your girl/boy friend.

  • A very pleasant bit of singing from Cathy.
