His first original TV series, "The Electric Playground," hit the airwaves in 1997 and is now a daily TV series seen in Canada and Australia, weekly in the US, and airs 24-7 online around the globe
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. @detBits I guess that makes sense. I've been on stages before (playing music and stuff), and I've always thought seeing the audience helped my performance. I guess this is a different case.

Touching story by Vic that I never knew about. I have even more respect for him now. And his speech and how he goes about things is solid as usual. I wish to do what Vic does. Maybe someday.
