The Channel Mixer is not often used among photoshop users. Although it can be useful to boost your contrast. Making two adjustment layers one for darkening and one for lighting- can be just what your looking for!

  • I think that this is very cool but how is it better than a simple curve or level adjust?

  • very well done. i wish for more explanation regarding the use of channels to create masks and the use of color balance to eliminate color casts. i will look forward to more of your tutorials.
