in a deisel and hybrid comparison, fuel economy and performance plus drivability should be factors. if the bimmer had the most power, most fun to drive, and one of the best suvs they have ever driven, then y is it 4th.

@n2oxide2 thats pretty good for a vehicle that weighs 2.2 tons and has a shit ton of torque. they also went offroad, which lowered it substantially.

This is a load of crap. The complaints he had for the X5 had only to do with the way it was equipped. Here's some advice, don't get the sports package w/ 19" wheels if you're going offroading in the North Pole. Plus, it does have a backup camera available. As far as the idrive goes, fine, but 4th place? It significantly outperforms every other car in the comparison and still manages to be more fuel efficient than the other diesels. Plus the eco-credit drops $4.5K. C'mon guys.
