@MegaJourdyn13 lol sorry mate but just because u get one ref that doesnt know the rules doesnt mean that rule necessarily exists! ;) you may have been called for dangerous play rather than a specific high stick rule...

@krustie22 the high stick rule still does apply! i just played a field hockey game last night and i got called for it! so YES HIGH STICK RULE STILL DOES APPLY!

I'm looking for a new stick. I play division one highschool leval and is looking forward to play in college i was wondering if you know of any good brands that you've had a good expierience with. My position is link ( Mid-field ) and is looking for a medium weight stick , less the 25 for the bow, and about 37 inches. looking for power and exellent control. please comment back thank you.

in the push nowadays you push of your right foot because goalkeepers wont be expecting it

@krustie22 Only if you lift your stick over yours and the other players head for example to change to the other side of the other players body in a tackle
'High sticks' rule (9.2): "Players on the field must hold their sticks and not use it in a dangerous way. Players must not lift their stick over the heads of other players."
Not a problem here. No other rules seem applicable.
