The desert sky, is lit above the sunrise
New day begins, I look out to the horizon
I see the valley, across this barren land
The snake is stalking, striking what it can

Over the mountain and through the canyon walls
An Eagle soars hungry for survival
The storm grows near it´s all that you can hear
Dark clouds above, bringing in the night

All at once, I see you standing near
Reach out to touch you, but you were never there

The wind is blowing on a hot desert night
I hear the thunder as I look into the light
Full moon is rising on a hot desert night
My love is burning on a hot desert night

I had a vision, a dream about this place
An endless journey, to fill this empty space
I need to find you, I know that you´ll be there
Out in the desert, be there if you dare

  • una bandototototota USA Metal de la generacion glam de 1984 verdadera banda de culto

al no haber sido comercial eso lo hace ser mas apreciable

  • This song is totally written about my town, Phoenix. The scene back then was as good as L.A. without all the jackasses. ICON was a standard back then and then along came Flotsam & Jetsam to cement the Phx music scene.

My son likes all this stuff and one day back, he told me he wished he'd grown up in this era. And, I must say, I agreed with him.

Cops werent jerks. The chicks were beautiful (not all scary looking like today) and I could drink at 19. lol (the last year for that)

    Metal Lives on!

  • blackie lawless?...lol...it seems a lot

  • is it blackie on vocals?

  • All i can imagine about this song is ETERNAL. The year, the place. Eighties, USA, desert, everything is so fine. And the sounding of the song...is just perfect. I would feel like the King, if go back in time, and listen them playing loud, as i drive a wreck car on an abandoned desert road.

  • @Vinvilland totally and the graphics rock i was so pissed off when they split but now they have re joined

  • awesome band, and killer album art!

  • La voz del vocalista se parece mucho a la de Blackie Lawless !! suena muy W.A.S.P. PERO ME ENCANTA ESTA BANDA !

  • This was as good as any of the other stuff coming out around that time in the same genre. It just got lost in the shuffle somehow. I really like this album, thanks for posting it. The other one I dug out of the cobwebs is Sword's "Metalized" CD. Great stuff, both of them.

  • Took me a while to locate this album recently........WELL worth it.
