Chance4All - Lavender Hill

The second part of the documentary Upliftment produced by iTZiT. This section of the film brings us to Lavender Hill, one of the townships located on the Cape Flats. In this township the Hillwood Primary School has started a dance project together with the Chance4All foundation and the New World Foundation. I always go to Capricorn next to Lavenderhill. I worked at Hillwood primary school for a few months. Saw people shooting on eachother and they also robbed me. Really hope one day they can stop this and stop the gangsters.

I have been there, this is a ten minute drive from my family. These children go through so much everyday and yet they still have the capacity to smile. And the teachers like Mrs. Claasen are angels without wings. God bless them and may they see real change for the better in their lifetime, I hope and pray.

ive been there several times to visit my friends family...now she also moved there,and i will probably revisit her soon

i really felt like crying for that school lady,the teachers there really dont just teach,they live their job...acutally passed this school on a walk...

bring me heart back to cape town, fucken gorvement, ,alemas and assholes like zuma. c'mon man do we realy think these assholes care? i'm black as well, but i love the townships as much as my coloured people, coz they make south afreeca like it or not, they make cape town. i love the cape flats, coz theres so musch heart there.we black people r jelous of coloured people, why?from germany sending my love to the cp eflats.
