The owner of the farm used a "skid steer" (I call it a bobcat) to help us lift over the plane and then drag it out of the field. This was a WEEK after it had finally stopped raining. You can see how muddy the field is.
My plane was face down in the rain and mud for two weeks before we were able to get in the field and recover it. The bobcat was strapped to the tail wheel and then pulled ass over tea kettle (well tipped over the worst wing and propeller spinner), then is was dragged backward to the edge of the field for partial disassembly.
I was glad to get the plane out of the field. Eventually, I rebuilt the plane and I'm back flying it.
