I understand what he he is trying to accomplish, but there are ways these exercises can be improved. He's strengthening their hip muscles. I have used some of these workouts myself, but in different ways and more specific to OL or DL (whichever I'm training for).

What is the cross legged hops over the hurdle supposed to be accomplishing? You should never cross your feet pass blocking or run blocking.

Just training to help them become more athletic.

I cannot see how any of these workouts and drills would benefit the muscles needed for o line work, other than of course the duck walks. Those jumps are pointless, you never jump on the o line, you take short, choppy powerful steps and keep your feet in the ground whenever you can. If you jump, you're gonna get knocked over on your ass.

The jumps are to increase explosive power and make them more athletic
