All clamp on's are not the same. Part 2 has the solution . Please note this is reading from a charger , it will not read battery dc , but it would read amps from a PWM not sure of the freq. yet .And I know my camera sucks.

  • Im not defending the accuracy of the meter. I don't have a second DC meter to check against and I never thought to squeeze the clamp. But Ill be you are measuring a pulsed current. Maybe from a battery charger? The A/C amp meter will pick up the Pulsed current but Ill bet it does not pick up straight DC. Try it with just a battery, no charger.

  • No I didnt mean accuracy , I just walked in the door from lowes with a new true rms Ideal (only 80 bucks) , another video in a minute.

  • Part # 3 I have it testing the blower in the car.
