Why are there scales from A to G? Sorry to be stubborn, cqn someone help? Thanks

@gokharol There are 12 notes to chose from. C, C#, D, D#, E, F, F#, G, G#, A, A# and B. Each has a major scale. That's just the way it is. Through the "circle of 5ths" C is first, then G, D, A, E, B, F#; C has no sharps in the scale, G 1, D 2, A 3, E 4, B 5, F# 6, and we can even use C#, (the same as Db) 7 sharps. Keys through the 4th cycle have flats. C none, F 1, Bb 2, Eb 3, Ab 4, Db 5, Gb 6, (even though it is the same thing as F#, with 6 sharps.)
The best thing is to just memorize these.
