It took the BBC long enough to investigate these long running abuses in Jersey. BBC Radio Jersey would have received plenty of police press releases throughout the long series of investigations that went nowhere.
Panorama has finally got round to exposing what they had been aware of for a very long time. New allegations of child abuse in Jersey are being made as police continue their investigations at Haute de la Garenne.

read between the lines:

at 8:07 the guy says "there must have been a cover up in the home, but ther eis NO PROOF that it went any further".

Notice how that "suggests" that someone is in total control, and is investigating it all, and YOU don't really need ot worry.

Its as though they "water it down", no matter how serious th ecrime is.

Also, notince how th ereporter says "they are investigating" the SHACKLES on the wall, to see iof there is any DNA on them.

Is there ANY doubt that the shackles were used ? Why were they there, if not ot be used ?

By the time th einvestigation is finished, all the evidence will have been CLEANED up, bu the people supposed to be investigating it, and they will say there is NO evidence (and there wont be, because they have just removed it all).
