  • To say her voice is beautiful is understatement. It is sublime, magical and irreplaceable.

That's because Karen was one of a kind. You can't duplicate vocal perfection. It's kind of like Hendrix. Lot's of great guitarist out there but non of them could ever sound like Jimi. :)

  • ohh man! I see myself driving on Florence ave before the 605 in Downey CA , by Karen`s house

hearing that song remembering her and thinking how would it be if she was still alive

  • Her worst performances are much better than most of the crap that passes as music today. Her voice really resonates literally with my whole body and soul. I never let a day go by without listening to Karen's sweet sound. Almost like a religious experience. Still miss you, KC, even after all these years. RIP ----Gr8gildy

  • Opino lo mismo que Ultrapley777. Una de las mas bella voz que ha habido.

  • My dad played this for my brothers and me when we were little. Now my brother, with cerebral palsy, gets such a joyous laugh with every sweet note of Karen Carpenter's voice.

  • I never met her but I love her. They'll never be a voice like this in our lifetime. She's so incredible. Have you ever felt some emotion in a song. As a matter of fact in all of her songs. How I which I could have met her.

  • @gfine2000 I agree about the angelic voice. I never get tired of hearing her music.

  • OTRA BELLA CANCION CON UNA VOZ HERMOSA Y ORIGINAL. KAREN SIEMPREVIVA, TU LEGADO INIGUALABLE, DE UNA EPOCA EN QUE LA BELLEZA SONORA ERA RECONOCIDA POR UN PUBLICO CONOCEDOR.

  • I bought my first 45 single in the 1970 and it was a Carpenter's..Was there when they first came out...what is cool is my Dtr grew up listening to them while in the womb...14 yrs old now and she still likes the Carpentes
