Seagulls are filthy animals. If you ever see one freshly killed they are full of parasites. The guy who handled the bird has bird lice crawling all over him. They don't suck human blood but will try for awhile before they figure it out, about two days. They have nemadtodes, tapeworms, and flukes as well and the eggs. Those will take to humans. Watch out.
