Senator Edward M. (Ted) Kennedy giving his perhaps last speech, as he is gravely ill, and came directly from a Cape Cod hospital, to show his endorsement of Senator Barack Obama at the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado.
He vowed to be on the senate floor in January 2009.
It was quite a moving moment.

  • Why should it be my concern what a politician does with his genitals?

I don't care if Senator Mrs X likes to give BJs as long as she does her job well. Same goes for any other male or female politician. What, are we to treat our elected representatives as substitutes for our teddy bears or safety blankets? Bad, bad bear shame on you, I'm throwing you out.

    Very mature.

  • rest in peace my beloved senator...

  • the crowd loves him, that much is certain.

  • God bless Ted Kennedy

  • and that Marilyn Monroe would achive immortality

  • Why yes! the Kennedy family has given so much.

Like proving Oldsmobiles don't float and can become watery coffins.

Making us all aware that Palestinians should be allowed in hotel kitchens.

Showing us that former marines make better Russian radio repairman than warehouse workers

That you shouldn't do mid-air refueling with avation gas

That the Scots make better Scotch whiskey than the Irish do.

  • Fantastic moment!. The Kennedy family have given so much for our country!. May god give strength to Senator Edward Kennedy!!

  • u son of a bitch, quit name dropping 9/11! u don't even know what it means!

  • lovve ya teddy

  • Although he is ill I wouldn't say "gravely ill". He looked good. Gravely is a little harsh. Amazing speech. Not a dry eye in the house.
