@kalsyed I've had this engine in sweet water conditions for about three seasons. After running it for about an hour the revs start going up and down for a while and then it just shuts down. It will restart, but it will keep shutting down after a few minutes. What is your experience?

Nice vid. I'm getting a 12ft fiberglass Jon boat, do you think this motor would be too much power and weight for it or would it work just fine??? Thanks:)

@1996TheRocketman - This motor is really light (about 40 lbs.) it should work great with your 12 ft. jon boat... but if your going to buy a new one I would recommend the 6.0 It cost a little more but it's worth it. weighs only 17 lbs more and has external fuel tank option (the integral fuel tank runs out to fast).
