For more information on the Colt 1911 pistol: http://www.colt22rimfire.com/index.php?page=colt-1911

Based on the legendary original Colt Government 1911, this .22 L.R. Pistol sports German quality & craftsmanship.

The dedicated .22 long rifle platform used for this Colt Government 1911 .22 Series is a new, licensed reproduction available in three rimfire variants-Government models 1911, 1911 Rail Gun, and 1911 Gold Cup. All models are in the popular 1911-A1 style.

All three Colt Government rimfire models are dedicated .22 L.R.s, but they're engineered in true replica form with fully functioning thumb and grip safeties and the 1911's authentic half-cock mechanism. Grips and sights can be interchanged with a skeleton trigger, combat-style sights, beavertail grip safety, extended thumb safety, and a commander-style hammer.

These new Colt .22 guns can be purchased from select distributors, local firearm dealers, and some national retailers with one 12-round magazine and retails range from $399 to $499 depending on the model.

  • Are any parts interchangeable with the GSG 1911? And can i use normal 1911 sights on it?

  • @schadavi I asked someone in our service department, and this was the response:

"Many of our Colt .22 pistols parts will interchange with a standard 1911. I’m not sure how the GSG in made, so I don’t know if they will interchange. The sight cut is a “Novak Style” cut. Again, I’m not sure if the Novak style sights will work. We don’t have any to check."

  • QUE COSTO TIENE EN EL MERCADO ESTA ARMA

  • @southparkfan1027 500 wtf its 800 in aus for just plane no added feauters

  • I want to get this gun so badly. I either want to get a .45 caliber 1911 and a 22 caliber conversion kit or a 22 caliber 1911. This gun has everything I want and I am hoping that I can find it cheaper than a standard 1911($500).

  • I just saw at the end of the video, the slide locking back after the last round was fired. This question may have already been asked and answered, but not during the video. Anyway, this is good news and a relief to know.

  • On the Rail version of this gun is the rear sight replaceable with something that's elevation and windage adjustable? What about the sight from the Gold Cup? Will that fit the Gold version?

  • Can someone please tell me with other sight options are available for this gun? Mine is shooting 6" low at 25-yards and there's no elevation adjustment on the OEM sights. Can I just order an aftermarket set of sights as long as it's "Novak compatible"?

  • I just looked at one of these pistols at my local outdoors store. The Umarex appears to be high quality metal and parts. I held the gun in my hand and it felt just right, the rubber handles on it felt very comfortable giving me confidence this would not slip out of my hands. This is my 1st time of hearing about Umarex and so far I'm impressed. I will be purchasing this colt style 1911.
