A really good concept. I think the front wheels should be brought inside the width of cockpit. this will make the car more compact (with lesser impression on ground). Secondly it should have hybrd option, in case of low battery.

It gets good mileage, but I don't think the safety rating would be very high.

Wrong! Batteries (the "lesser tyranny") block massive non-fuel-motor prod. I have just built Frontal air turbines, which cause vibrations reliably to generate electronically sufficient for 100km/p/h (two 3000w 48v mag-drives in rear) - self-propelled light commuter cars (plastic-framed), that need no fuel-motors OR batteries. Most of you (including Young) are MANY YEARS BEHIND! Aptera was CUTTING EDGE - two years ago! Pivo2 - last year.

For a two & one half passenger vehicle it has excellent design & engineering, safety features exceed all automotive safety standards, very good efficiency , very good comfort features, excellent handling & really fun to drive. I am on the list for two.
