Recorded using a hdr cx 360 made by Sony this sunflower & bee are a nice example of what this camera can do.
The Sunflower was grown in my garden, I had no idea it would look so good. Hope this video was worth viewing.

  • I'm thinking of buying a camera, i was going to get the HDR-CX560V, but see there is really no big difference, you think this camera should do?

  • @McGradybestfan1

This camera works for me however the 560 has more mega pixels & that would be better. Before I got this 360 i had the 160 & the 360 is better imo. If you have the extra funds go for the 560 but a little bit more $ & you can get a pro camera. You can upgrade the camera if purchased at best buy with in 14 days (get the 4 year warranty). If you have a mac consider another brand.

I just bought a imac 4 weeks ago. Great machine and the camera will work. The only thing is I cant seem to get the hd video uploaded. Standard quality is easy but the good thing is I have read it is possible. Maybe do a search of AVCHD. That is the format sony uses to record its video's on and is what I hear movie studio's convert their films to when they are done editing. Its the finished product. Im just saying it has been a road bump for me. Just do a youtube/google search =)

  • @12345mike6789 Is there a difference between the CX360 and the CX360V?

  • @QuattroStig Im sure there is but I doubt its a big difference. Try doing a google search. Maybe you can come back & post what you have found. Im still happy with this camera.

  • @QuattroStig

HI,Sorry for my bad English, I got this camera today, the first was found to be defective.

I know that there is a difference for the cx360E European models do not have GPS, while the model CX360VE have GPS on board.

  • @Calibra71Italia Yes, mine does have the gps feature.

  • Hello,

This is brilliant! I have a question. For smooth slow recording does this camera allow more time for recording. if yes how much time and how do i do that?

  • @12345mike6789 Alright thanks, but why consider another brand it said on the box at bestbuy it was compatible with iMovie? I do have a Mac btw.

  • @Calibra71Italia And yes, the E or e at the end denotes that is an European Version, wich records on PAL, so if you live in America have in mind that PAL is not compatible with NTSC playback mode. Also from America to European versions are slighly differences in the HD 1080p or i frames I think in America is 60fps, and 30fps; while in Europe is 30fps, and 28 or 24 (something like that), fps. Both are unique great quality products. Thanks.

  • @QuattroStig No there is no difference, but a spelling wrong model; because actually the Sony official model names are with the v at the end so officially is a Sony HDR-CX360V, but it someones writte sony cx360 is reffering to the same model. What makes difference between models is if there is a XR (Hard disk memory) instead of the CX (Flash memory); or is there is a SX (standard definitions) or whatever instead of the HDR (high definition camcorders). I recommend CX more than XR. Thanks.
